Great Bend Campus
Surgical services
Many surgical procedures today have become less invasive and state-of-the-art equipment allows for the patient to recover quicker and resume their normal activities. We provide outpatient and inpatient surgeries for a variety of patients and procedures. Our surgery department employs specially trained nurses and scrub techs to assist the surgeon in the operating room. From the time the patient arrives for surgery, the dedicated staff assists with preoperative, intraoperative and postoperative care and patient education. The surgical department maintains four operating suites and a procedure room to handle a comprehensive range of surgical procedures. Our hospital is fortunate to have one anesthesiologist and three certified registered nurse anesthetists to provide excellent care before, during and after surgery. Anesthesia is available 24 hours a day and available for the emergent needs of patients.
